Story

Raj Kishore (John Abraham) is the epitome of bad luck. Everything he touches turns to dust. Two brothers Junky (Arshad Warsi) and Chandu (Pulkit Samrat) who are his friends are also made bankrupt by him.

The trio owe money to gangsters Raja saab (Saurabh Shukla) and his brother-in-law WiFi Bhai (Anil Kapoor). There is also a Niraj Modi (Inaamulhaq), a white collar criminal who has bankrupted a bank in India and has run away to London involved in this setup. Yes, the reference is to Nirav Modi in case you missed the obvious.

The plot line involves every single individual coming in touch with Raj Kishore meeting with a set of disasters. If the guys are dumb, the girls are dumber. Ileana D'Cruz plays a rich heiress who gives all her money to John for love, Kriti Kharbanda plays Saurabh Shukla's daughter who actually has a nut loose and Urvashi Rautela plays an out of work actress who moonlights as a ghost.

Director Anees Bazmee's idea of comedy leans towards it being loud and over-the-top. He piles and piles one OTT situation on top of the other and exhausts your nerves. He has taken the term killing it with laughter too literally. Everything from super glue to African lions are thrown in the mix to elicit laughs.Thankfully, the film is free of scatalogical references and cheap double entendres.
